I finished Brianne's bunny. Next, I'm going to make a lion with polka-dotted socks!

Bunny Crafts

I found a book at the library called '16 fun and funky friends sewn from socks'. So far I have made one rabbit, but I am making another for Brianne. These are some of the friends from the book

So-So Sundays

After getting back from church, (this is the lame part) I cleaned my room. After that , which is just before this post, I chopped up mushrooms and put them in the pan with butter and garlic. I'll post the recipe so you can make it too!

about 2 pounds of mushrooms
1 stick of butter
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
a pan
a fork
and you!

Directions: Chop up mushrooms about a 1/4 in. thick. Put butter in pan and turn temp. to low over burner. Put mushrooms in pan with garlic and a few shakes of Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. When they look brown and the butter is brown and bubbley, you should taste them, but be sure to blow on them a ton!

6th grade at last!

On Thursday, August 26, I finally started 6th grade. So far I am loving it. My teacher is sooooo nice. The only thing I'm really bummed out about, is that not all of my friends are in my class. I know I have Kami, Gabs, Brooke, and a few others, but I wanted Gaby, Breezy, Kassy, Junior, and the other boys in my class too. Well, I'll post again tomorrow!
